On Friday, January 17th, ASD-W will send, via School Messenger, a voice message to parents/guardians of ALL Kindergarten and Grade 5 students informing you of the ASD-W registration process and online registration site for 2025-2026 school year. Parents who wish to have their child registered in Grade 1 Early French Immersion or Grade 6 Late French Immersion are asked to complete the electronic registration form located on the ASD-W web site: https://asdw.nbed.ca/ . The link will be available beginning on January 22, 2025. You do not need to complete any forms for your child to continue in the English Prime program here at BES.
If you complete the registration form and then wish to withdraw the registration, you will need to access the same site and click on “Withdraw from French Immersion Registration”. If you do not have access to a computer to complete the registration form, please contact us here at the school at 506-357-4074 to complete the registration over the phone.
It is important to note that Burton Elementary School does not offer French Immersion. Grade 1 FI students from our school would go to Assiniboine Avenue Elementary School in Oromocto to begin their FI program. Busing is available for FI students from Burton to Oromocto.
There will be two upcoming Teams parent/guardian information sessions. This will be an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the program.
